The marks of the Foundation
Everything a designer, a publisher or a certified work needs to show the Foundation correctly. Every file is a vector with its lettering already outlined, so it looks the same everywhere, and each comes as PNG at 512, 1024 and 2048 pixels.

The Great Seal is the primary mark. The wordmark carries the name where a seal would be too formal. The wax seal is secondary, for charters, rulings and signed certificates. The symbol is the sprout of The Republic, the Foundation’s parent, and appears alone only where space is very small.

Certification marks
A work that holds a degree may show any mark of that degree, in whichever form suits it best. Only the degree held today may be shown, and every seal must link to the work’s entry in the Register. Registry seals and holograms printed here carry a specimen number. Versions with the work’s own number are issued by the Foundation with the degree. What each degree means →
